to give someone something, like money, expecting them to give it back after a while

Ex: The library is happy to lend books to its members for a set period .
to favor [verb]

to prefer someone or something to an alternative

Ex: He tends to favor action movies over romantic comedies .

to take care of a child or children while their parents are away

Ex: He babysits his younger cousins every weekend .

our sister or brother's daughter, or the daughter of our husband or wife's siblings
