having the color that is the lightest, like snow

Ex: The white snowflakes were falling softly from the sky during winter .

blue [adjective]

having the color of the ocean or clear sky at daytime

Ex: The little boy 's favorite toy was a blue car .

having the color of fresh grass or most plant leaves

Ex: The highlighter he used was green and helped him study .

having the color of chocolate ice cream

Ex: The dog 's fur was a soft brown shade , with hints of caramel .

dark [adjective]

(of a color) having a deep or intense hue

Ex: The artist used dark tones to create depth in the painting .

light [adjective]

(of color) having less intensity, often because of a small amount of pigment

Ex: The room was painted in light shades of pink and yellow .

a quality such as red, green, blue, yellow, etc. that we see when we look at something
