Что мы понимаем под деньгами и ценой?
Деньги — это вид валюты, который используется для покупки товаров и услуг. Цена — это количество денег, необходимое для покупки товаров или услуг.
Как спрашивать о деньгах и ценах на английском
Чтобы спросить о деньгах, можно использовать вопросы типа «how much is this/that» или «how much are these/those…?». На эти вопросы можно ответить с помощью «it’s/they’re…». Например:
- How much is the book? + It’s 10 dollars.
- Сколько стоит книга? + 10 долларов.
- How much are these pens? + They’re 50 dollars.
- Сколько стоят эти ручки? + 50 долларов.
Как читать цены
Для чтения цен на товары можно использовать различные структуры. Вот наиболее распространенные способы:
$4.60 → four-sixty
$4,60 → четыре-шестьдесят
Вы можете просто сказать цифры.
$4.60 → four dollars sixty
$4,60 → четыре доллара шестьдесят
Вы можете сказать число + «dollar(s)» и число после запятой.
$4.60 → four dollars and sixty cents
$4,60 → четыре доллара и шестьдесят центов
Вы можете сказать число + «dollar(s)» + «and» + число после запятой + «cent(s)».

Когда цена является точным числом, она может быть прочитана как число + доллары/фунты/евро и т.д.

Знак доллара ($) ставится перед числом, и между знаком доллара и числом нет пробела.
