Co rozumíme pod pojmy peníze a cena?
Peníze jsou typem měny, která se používá k nákupu zboží a služeb. Cena je množství peněz, které je potřeba k nákupu zboží nebo služeb. V této lekci se naučíte ptát se a mluvit o penězích a cenách v angličtině.
Jak se ptát na peníze a ceny
K tomu, abychom se zeptali na peníze, můžeme použít otázky jako: „how much is this/that…?“ nebo „how much are these/those…?“. Na tyto otázky lze odpovědět pomocí „it is/they are...“. Například:
- 'How much is the book?' + 'It’s 10 dollars.'
- „Kolik stojí ta kniha?“ + „Stojí 10 dolarů.“
- 'How much are these pens?' + 'They’re 50 dollars.'
- „Kolik stojí tyto propisky?“ + „Stojí 50 dolarů.“
Jak číst ceny
Existuje několik způsobů, jak číst cenu předmětu. Toto jsou nejčastější způsoby:
$4.60 → four-sixty
$4.60 → čtyři šedesát
Stačí říct čísla.
$4.60 → four dollars sixty
$4.60 → čtyři dolary šedesát
Můžete říct číslo + „dollars“ + a číslo za desetinnou čárkou.
$4.60 → four dollars and sixty cents
$4.60 → čtyři dolary a šedesát centů
Můžete říct číslo + „dollars“ + „and“ + desetinné číslo + „cents“.
Tip!
Pokud je cena přesné číslo, lze ji přečíst jako číslo + „dollars“/„pounds“/„euros“/atd.
$200 → two hundred dollars
$200 → dvě stě dolarů
$80 → eighty dollars
$80 → osmdesát dolarů
Tip!
Znak dolaru ($) se píše před číslem a mezi znakem dolaru a číslem není mezera.
