Para ve Fiyat Ne Anlama Gelir?
Para, mal ve hizmet satın almak için kullanılan bir tür para birimidir. Fiyat ise mal veya hizmet satın almak için gereken para miktarıdır.
Para ve Fiyatları Sorma
Para hakkında soru sormak için 'how much is this/that?' veya 'how much are these/those?' gibi sorular kullanılabilir. Bu sorular 'it’s/they’re….' kullanılarak cevaplanabilir. Örneğin:
How much is the book? It’s 10 dollars.
Bu kitabın fiyatı ne kadar? 10 dolar.
How much are these pens? They’re 50 dollars.
Bu kalemlerin fiyatı ne kadar? 50 dolar.
Fiyatları Nasıl Okuruz?
Bir ürünün fiyatını okumak için farklı yapılar kullanılabilir. Bunlar en yaygın yollarıdır:
$4.60 → four-sixty
$4.60 → dört altmış
Sadece sayıları söyleyebilirsiniz.
$4.60 → four dollars sixty
$4.60 → dört dolar altmış
Sayı + 'dollars' ve ondalık sayıdan sonra gelen sayıyı söyleyebilirsiniz.
$4.60 → four dollars and sixty cents
$4.60 → dört dolar altmış sent
Sayı + 'dollars' + 'and' + ondalık sayı + 'cents' söyleyebilirsiniz.
Dikkat!
Bir fiyat tam bir sayı olduğunda, sayı + dolar/pound/euro vb. olarak okunabilir.
$200 → two hundred dollars
$200 → İki yüz dolar
$80 → eighty dollars
$80 → seksen dolar

Dolar işareti ($) sayının önüne gelir ve dolar işareti ile sayı arasında boşluk yoktur.
