Гроші — це вид валюти, який використовується для покупки товарів і послуг. Ціна — це кількість грошей, необхідна для покупки товарів або послуг. На цьому уроці ви навчитеся запитувати та говорити про гроші та ціни.
Як запитувати про гроші та ціни
Щоб запитати про гроші, можна використовувати запитання на кшталт: «how much is this/that...?» або «how much are these/those…?». Відповідати на такі запитання можна за допомогою конструкцій «it’s/they’re….». Наприклад:
- 'How much is the book?' + 'It’s 10 dollars.'
- «Скільки коштує книга?» + «Це коштує 10 доларів.»
- 'How much are these pens?' + 'They’re 50 dollars.'
- «Скільки коштують ці ручки?» + «Вони коштують 50 доларів.»
Як читати ціни
Існують різні способи, щоб озвучити ціну предмета. Ось найпоширеніші з них:
$4.60 → four-sixty
$4.60 → чотири шістдесят
Ви можете просто назвати цифри.
$4.60 → four dollars sixty
чотири долари шістдесят
Ви можете сказати цифру + «dollars» і цифру після десяткової точки.
$4.60 → four dollars and sixty cents
чотири долари шістдесят центів
Ви можете сказати цифру + «dollars» + «and» + десяткову цифру + «cents».
Увага!
Коли ціна є точною цифрою, її можна озвучити як цифру + «dollars/pounds/euros» тощо.
$200 → two hundred dollars
$200 → 200 доларів
$80 → eighty dollars
$80 → 80 доларів
Увага!
Знак долара ($) ставиться перед числом, і між знаком долара та числом немає пробілу.
