Cum Să Întrebăm Despre Bani și Prețuri
Pentru a întreba despre bani, puteți folosi întrebări precum: „how much is this/that“ sau „how much are these/those…?“ Aceste întrebări pot fi răspunse folosind „it’s/they’re…“. De exemplu:

Există diferite structuri care pot fi folosite pentru a citi prețul unui articol. Iată cele mai comune moduri:

$4,60 → patru și șaizeci
Puteți spune doar numerele.
$4.60 → four dollars sixty
$4,60 → patru dolari şaizeci
Puteți spune numărul + „dollars“ și numărul după punctul zecimal.
$4.60 → four dollars and sixty cents
$4,60 → patru dolari şi şaizeci de cenţi
Puteți spune numărul + „dollars“ + „and“ + numărul zecimal + „cents“.

Când un preț este un număr exact, poate fi citit ca „numărul + dollars/pounds/euros/etc.“.
$200 → two hundred dollars
$200 → doua sute de dolari
$80 → eighty dollars
$80 → optzeci de dolari

Semnul dolarului ($) se plasează înaintea numărului și nu există spațiu între semnul dolarului și număr.
