Como Perguntar Sobre Dinheiro e Preços
Para perguntar sobre dinheiro, perguntas como: 'how much is this/that?' ou 'how much are these/those?' podem ser usadas. Essas perguntas podem ser respondidas usando 'it’s/they’re….'. Por exemplo:
- 'How much is the book?' + 'It’s 10 dollars.'
- 'Quanto custa o livro?' + 'São 10 dólares.'
- 'How much are these pens?' + 'They’re 50 dollars.'
- 'Quanto custam essas canetas?' + 'São 50 dólares.'
Como Ler Preços
Diferentes estruturas podem ser usadas en ingles para ler o preço de um item. Estas são as maneiras mais comuns:
$4.60 → four-sixty
$4.60 → quatro e sessenta
Você pode apenas dizer os números.
$4.60 → four dollars sixty
$4.60 → quatro dólares sessenta
Você pode dizer o número + 'dollars' + o número após o ponto decimal.
$4.60 → four dollars and sixty cents
$4.60 → quatro dólares e sessenta cêntimos
Você pode dizer o número + 'dollars' + 'and' + número decimal + 'cents'.
Atenção!
Quando um preço é um número exato, pode ser lido como o número + 'dollars/pounds/euros/etc.'.
$200 → two hundred dollars
$200 → duzentos dólares
$80 → eighty dollars
$80 → oitenta dólares
Atenção!
O símbolo do dólar ($) vai antes do número e não há espaço entre o símbolo do dólar e o número.
