Il denaro è un tipo di valuta che viene utilizzata per acquistare beni e servizi. Il prezzo è la quantità di denaro necessaria per acquistare beni o servizi.
Come Chiedere Informazioni su Soldi e Prezzi
Per chiedere informazioni sul denaro, si possono usare domande come: 'how much is this/that?' o 'how much are these/those?'. Queste domande possono essere risposte usando 'it’s/they’re…'. Per esempio:
- 'How much is the book?' + 'It’s 10 dollars.'
- 'Quanto costa il libro?' + 'Costa 10 dollari.'
- 'How much are these pens?' + 'They’re 50 dollars.'
- 'Quanto costano queste penne?' + 'Costano 50 dollari.'
Come leggere i prezzi
Diversi modi possono essere utilizzati per leggere il prezzo di un articolo. Questi sono i modi più comuni:
$4.60 → four-sixty
quattrosessanta
Puoi semplicemente dire i numeri.
$4.60 → four dollars sixty
quattro dollari e sessanta
Puoi dire il numero + 'dollars' e il numero dopo il punto decimale.
$4.60 → four dollars and sixty cents
quattro dollari e sessanta centesimi
Puoi dire il numero + 'dollars' + 'and' + numero decimale + 'cents'.
Attenzione!
Quando un prezzo è un numero esatto, può essere letto come numero + 'dollars/pounds/euros/etc.'.
$200 → two hundred dollars
duecento dollari
$80 → eighty dollars
ottanta dollari
Attenzione!
Il simbolo del dollaro ($) va prima del numero e non c'è spazio tra il simbolo del dollaro e il numero.
