Cách hỏi về tiền và giá cả
Để hỏi về tiền, có thể sử dụng các câu hỏi như: 'how much is this/that..?' hoặc 'how much are these/those...?'. Những câu hỏi này có thể được trả lời bằng 'it’s/they’re...'. Ví dụ:
- 'How much is the book?' + 'It’s 10 dollars.'
- 'Cuốn sách này giá bao nhiêu?' + '10 đô la.'
- 'How much are these pens?' + 'They’re 50 dollars.'

Cách đọc giá
Có nhiều cấu trúc khác nhau để đọc giá của một mặt hàng. Đây là những cách phổ biến nhất:
$4.60 → four-sixty
4,60 đô la → bốn sáu mươi
Bạn có thể chỉ cần nói các con số.
$4.60 → four dollars sixty
4,60 đô la → bốn đô la sáu mươi
Bạn có thể nói số + dollars và số sau dấu thập phân.
$4.60 → four dollars and sixty cents

Bạn có thể nói số + dollars + 'and' + số thập phân + cents.
Chú ý!
Khi giá là một số chẵn, có thể đọc là số + dollars/pounds/euros/v.v.
$200 → two hundred dollars
200 đô la → hai trăm đô la
$80 → eighty dollars
$80 đô la → eighty dollars
Chú ý!
Dấu đô la ($) nằm trước số và không có khoảng cách giữa dấu đô la và số.
