¿Qué es el tiempo presente continuo?
El tiempo presente continuo se usa para hablar de una acción o situación que está ocurriendo ahora.
Estructura
El presente continuo se forma utilizando 'to be' + la forma -ing del verbo principal. Se puede usar la forma completa o la forma corta del verbo 'to be' en esta estructura.

Ortografía
Para la mayoría de los verbos, se añade '-ing' a la forma base del verbo para formar el presente continuo, pero cuando el verbo termina en '-e', se debe eliminar antes de agregar '-ing'. Aquí hay algunos ejemplos:

tomando
come → coming
viniendo
Si el verbo termina en una vocal + una consonante y la última sílaba es tónica, la consonante se duplica antes de agregar '-ing'. Por ejemplo:

Negación
Para hacer una oración negativa en presente continuo, añade 'not' al verbo 'to be'. Por ejemplo:
