現在進行形とは何ですか？
現在進行形は、今起こっている動作や状況について話すときに使われます。
構造
現在進行形は「be」＋動詞の「-ing」形で構成されます。この構造では、「be」動詞のフルフォームや短縮形が使えます。

スペリング
ほとんどの動詞では、動詞の基本形に「-ing」を追加して現在進行形を作りますが、動詞が「-e」で終わる場合、「-ing」をつける前に「-e」を取り除く必要があります。以下はその例です：
make → making (作る → 作っています)
take → taking (取る → 取っています)
come → coming (来る → 来ています)
動詞が母音＋子音で終わり、最後の音節が強調される場合は、子音を重ねてから「-ing」を追加します。例えば：
plan → planning (計画する → 計画しています)
stop → stopping (止まる → 止まっています)
否定文
現在進行形の否定文を作るには、「be」動詞に「not」を追加します。例えば：
I'm working. → I am not working. (I'm not working.)
私は働いています。 → 働いていません。
She is eating. → She is not eating. (She isn't eating.)
彼女は食べています。 → 彼女は食べていません。
They are waiting. → They are not waiting. (They aren't waiting.)
彼らは待っている。 → 彼らは待っていない。
注意！
短縮形「I amn't」を使わないように気をつけましょう。「I'm not」を使ってください。
疑問文
現在進行形の疑問文を作るには、文の最初に「be」動詞を置き、主語の前に続け、その後に動詞の「-ing」形を追加します。
I'm working. → Are you working?
私は働いています。 → あなたは働いていますか？
She is eating. → Is she eating?
彼女は食べています。 → 彼女は食べているのでしょうか？
