حال استمراری چیست؟
زمان حال استمراری برای صحبت درباره عمل یا وضعیتی که در حال حاضر در حال وقوع است استفاده می‌شود.
ساختار
زمان حال استمراری با استفاده از فعل 'to be + شکل -ing فعل اصلی تشکیل می‌شود. می‌توان از فرم کامل یا فرم کوتاه فعل "to be" در این ساختار استفاده کرد.

املا
زمان حال استمراری بیشتر افعال با اضافه کردن -ing به ریشه‌ی فعل ساخته می‌شود. اما اگر ریشه‌ی فعل به '-e' ختم شود، قبل از اضافه کردن '-ing' باید '-e' حذف شود. به مثال‌ها دقت کنید:
make → making
take → taking
come → coming
اگر فعل به یک مصوت + یک صامت ختم شود و آخرین سیلاب با تأکید تلفظ شود، قبل از اضافه کردن -ing، صامت آخر تکرار می‌شود.

plan → planning
stop → stopping
منفی کردن افعال حال استمراری
برای ساختن فعل منفی در زمان حال استمراری، "not" را به فعل "to be" اضافه کنید. به عنوان مثال:

برای سوالی کردن جملات حال استمراری، فعل 'to be' را در ابتدای جمله استفاده کنید و سپس فاعل و شکل -ing .فعل را قرار دهید

کاربردها
زمان حال استمراری برای اشاره به عمل یا اتفاقی استفاده می‌شود که که در حال اتفاق افتادن در همان لحظه است.
