İngilizcede üç ana koordine eden bağlaç vardır:

but
And
'And', bir kelimeyi başka bir kelimeye eklemek için kullanılır. Örneğin:
She is beautiful. She is kind. = She is beautiful and kind.
O güzel. O nazik. = O güzel ve nazik.
I called Hanna. I called Tommy = I called Hanna and Tommy.
Hanna'yı aradım. Tommy'yi aradım. = Hanna ve Tommy'yi aradım.
Or
'Or', iki veya daha fazla seçeneği belirtmek için kullanılır. Örneğin:
Are you sad? Are you angry? = Are you sad or angry?
