homonym [noun]

each of two or more words with the same spelling or pronunciation that vary in meaning and origin

Ex: " Bank " is a homonym because it can mean both a financial institution and the side of a river .

(grammar) one of two or more words that are spelled the same but differ in meaning

Ex: In a sentence , understanding the homograph can depend on recognizing its context .

an animal that is large, has a tail and four legs, and we use for racing, pulling carriages, riding, etc.

Ex: My dream is to one day own a beautiful horse .
hoarse [adjective]

having a rough, harsh, and weak voice, usually due to a sore throat or excessive use

Ex: His hoarse voice made it difficult to understand what he was saying .
coarse [adjective]

having a rough or uneven surface or texture

Ex: The artist preferred to use a coarse brush to create textured effects in her paintings .
course [noun]

a series of lessons or lectures on a particular subject

Ex: The company provided a training course for all new employees .

a floating object anchored in a body of water, typically used for navigation, marking hazards, or for indicating the location of something such as a submarine cable
