a sudden and short sound, word or phrase, uttered to express anger, excitement, etc.

Ex: The exclamation " Yikes ! " slipped out when she saw the giant spider .
silly [adjective]

showing a lack of seriousness, often in a playful way

Ex: The kids were being silly , running around the playground and laughing .
brilliant [adjective]

exceptionally impressive or outstanding

Ex: The film received brilliant reviews from critics across the board .
utterly [adverb]

to the fullest degree or extent, used for emphasis

Ex: The landscape was utterly transformed after the heavy snowfall .
rubbish [noun]

words or ideas that are considered to be false or of no value

Ex: He talks a lot of rubbish when he ’s trying to impress people .
dreadful [adjective]

very bad, often causing one to feel angry or annoyed

Ex: His dreadful attitude made it difficult to enjoy the event .
mess [noun]

a situation with many problems or difficulties, caused particularly by someone who is careless
