¿Qué es el verbo 'be'?
El verbo ‘be’ puede tomar diferentes formas dependiendo del tiempo y del sujeto.
Diferentes formas de 'be'
En el presente, 'be' puede tener tres formas dependiendo del sujeto:

Preguntas con 'be'
Para formar preguntas usando el verbo ‘be’, cambia el lugar del sujeto y el verbo. Por ejemplo:
He is an actor. → Is he an actor?
Él es un actor. → ¿Es él un actor?
They are angry. → Are they angry?
Ellos están enojados. → ¿Están ellos enojados?
Negación
Para hacer una oración negativa con el verbo 'be', solo agrega 'not' después del verbo.
I am studying. → I am not studying.
Estoy estudiando → No estoy estudiando.
She is busy. → She is not busy./She isn't busy.
Ella está ocupada. → Ella no está ocupada.
He was happy to see us. → He was not happy to see us./He wasn’t happy to see us.
Él estuvo feliz de vernos. → Él no estuvo feliz de vernos.
You were a student. → You were not a student./You weren’t a student.
Fuiste estudiante. → No fuiste estudiante.
